About these terms
Lutheos is an API, a dashboard and a chat app for open language models that a GPU partner runs for us. These terms are the agreement between you and Lutheos for using them.
By creating an account or sending a request you agree to these terms. The Acceptable Use Policy, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are part of them. If you use Lutheos for an organization, you confirm that you may bind it to these terms.
You must be at least 18 years old.
Your account and keys
You sign in with GitHub or Google. Give us accurate details and keep your sign-in secure.
An API key, which starts with lrsk-, spends your balance. Keep keys secret, give each project its own key, and revoke a key that may have leaked. You are responsible for everything done with your account and your keys.
Tell us at once if you think an account or a key has been compromised.
The service and its models
We offer open models that our GPU partner runs on its own hardware, through one endpoint that speaks the OpenAI and the Anthropic APIs. The models page lists what is available now, with prices.
Some models are abliterated: they have been changed to refuse far less than the model as released. The others are the model as released. Either way, what a model writes is generated, is not reviewed by us, and can be wrong, offensive or harmful. What you do with it is up to you.
Models, prices and limits can change. We may add, change or remove a model at any time, and we promise no particular model, uptime or response time.
Each open model is released by its creator under its own licence. You must follow the licence of any model you use.
Your content
You keep whatever rights you have in what you send and in what the models send back. We claim no ownership of either.
You are responsible for what you send and for how you use what comes back, and you promise that you have the rights and permissions to send it.
To answer a request we pass it to the partner’s models and return the reply. How data is handled is in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. A model that refuses less does not change what you may do with it.
We may block requests, revoke keys or suspend accounts that break it.
Balance, prices and payment
You pay in advance. You top up a balance, and each request draws from it at the listed price per million tokens, in US dollars. Input and output tokens are counted separately. Requests that fail upstream are not billed.
Top-ups are paid in cryptocurrency through a third-party payment processor. A top-up is credited once the payment is confirmed, and we may review a payment before we credit it. Network fees and exchange-rate differences are yours to bear.
A balance is prepaid service credit. It is not a bank deposit, an investment or a cryptocurrency balance, it earns no interest, and it cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash except as the Refund Policy says. Credit that we give you, such as a gift, a promotion or a redeemed code, has no cash value.
Prices can change. A request is charged at the price listed when it is made.
All your keys draw from the same balance. Keep enough in it for your use: when it runs out, requests stop with an error.
Suspension and ending
You can stop using Lutheos at any time.
We may limit, suspend or end your access, and revoke keys, if you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if that is needed to protect people, the service or our partners, to follow the law, or for unpaid or unauthorized use.
What happens to a remaining balance is covered by the Refund Policy.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranty, express or implied: not that the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and not that any output will be accurate, lawful or fit for a purpose.
Do not rely on output alone for medical, legal, financial, employment, housing, insurance, law-enforcement or other decisions that matter a great deal to someone. Have a person review them.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Lutheos is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or lost-profit damages, or for loss that comes from a model’s output or from your use of it.
Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date and version at the top of this page say which one applies. If you keep using Lutheos after an update takes effect, you accept it.
